The Chrysler LLC Promotional Merchandise web site is designed to protect you! Every effort is been made to secure and protect the information that you provide us.
Data encryption. What does it mean?
The information you send us regarding your purchase is encrypted which makes it
unusable if it is intercepted. This store uses the industry-standard Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) technology that permits encryption of potentially sensitive information
such as your name and address and critically sensitive information, like your credit
card number. All transactions are encrypted with a 128 bit pass-key, whereby only
Corporate Express Promotional Marketing holds the decryption key. Even after you
submit this information, it is removed from all systems. If you are concerned about
the privacy of your credit card information, we encourage you to submit your order
via phone. You may contact us at 1-877-777-7214.
Safer transmissions. How?
Paying attention to browser features will increase your security. Take these steps to
protect yourself even more. Your browser settings may be
set to notify you if you change between secure and insecure transmission modes; if
you receive an invalid site identification to the site to which you are about to
transmit; and, if you are going to send a transmission over an "open" or unsecured
connection. Your browser security settings allow you to control these features. Non-SSL
browser users: Please use the "Order by Phone" option. Note that browsers such as AOL,
Cyberdog 1.2, Compuserve, etc. do not support SSL. Netscape Navigator 3.0 Users: When
choosing to place your order, you may receive an error "Document contains no data." To
bypass this error, choose Options from the Netscape menu. Click on Security Preferences.
Make sure that the checkbox next to Enable SSL v3 is not checked. Click on apply - ok.
Then proceed to reload the page.
Know your browser. How do I know if the site is secure?
You are notified in two ways of a secure transaction. Watch the URL. A secure transmission
identifying a secure page will always begin with "https://" Also, an icon will appear.
This icon depends on the browser. Netscape Navigator uses an "unbroken key" in the lower
left corner.
